In the Brooder
I have a sweet black astrolop who I believe is trying to go broody. I found her sitting on 6 eggs, she's also plucked out feathers from her stomach area.
I live in Utah and winters get pretty cold. If I were to let her hatch some eggs now, would the chicks be old enough to survive the winter once they are on their own?
I have been seeing conflicting information.
Thanks chicken lovers!
