Hi :welcome

Glad you could join the flock! A lot will depend on your individual birds and their temperaments. Some Roos will quite happily live in flock with others and some will not. Sometimes there will be fights over girls. I have read of multiple Roos living together quite happily although this is not for me personally. I keep mine seperate with their own girls just in case. This way I know there will be no fights over the ladies. Giving them as much as possible would be vital if you did keep multiple ones. Rehoming is always an option too once you know for sure what you have. Also too many could easily lead to over breeding of the ladies which is very hard on them.

Here is an article on keeping Roos ~ https://www.backyardchickens.com/a/keeping-a-rooster

Wishing you the very best of luck and enjoy BYC :frow

Welcome to BYC. Glad you decided to join our flock. You need to thin your roosters down, not so much for them fighting each other but for the sake of your hens' health. The recommended ration of roosters to hens is 1 rooster for every 10 hens. As they mature and the hormones kick in, too many roosters will become very hard physically on your hens; over-breeding them, biting and plucking the feathers from their necks and backs, battering them, and potentially, seriously injuring them. The only reason you really need a rooster is to fertilize eggs fro hatching, and 1 rooster can easily handle 10-15 hens in this regard. Please feel free to ask any questions you may have. We are here to help in any way we can. Good luck in re-homing your excess roosters.
