To move or not to move?

I have 2 hens brooding. My nest boxes are 30 inches from the ground. Should I move them to a new nest closer to the ground or leave them be until chicks hatch?

Last summer I had that issue and I moved the hens & eggs. Since they had been sitting for a few days they stuck to their nests and it worked out.

Right now I have 4 broody hens and colder temperatures so I am leaving them where they are. Saves me dealing with extra frozen water dishes. They do not have eggs under them though, only golf balls. I have some eggs in the incubator and since broodiness is contagious, I decided to order some chicks too. I will put them under the hens at night and then move the families first thing the next morning. I got the idea from Happy Wife Acres on YouTube.
