We can just like you. We don't have to judge your mother. Who knows what she went through;
I'm sure there are lots of moms, who'd give anything for a do-over.
do you ever feel like your mom is touching you? listening? Hearing? really hearing you. is just there?
She probably is.
Just because she was an alcoholic, doesn't mean she doesn't care about her child. The love of a child transcends all worlds.
I cannot imagine myself not loving my child with all my heart, soul and life. My child is now 27 and going through a hard time. I am miserable for her. My mother and father are miserable for me, ..for her. I don't want my almst 16 year old stepson to go through any of this either,....

You are probaly going through some of the toughest times of your life. I don't know of to many people who want to be back in their teens!
You couldn't pay me a milliom bucks. I am broke, but happy!

Hi again, Farmer Denise, im not sure who wrote the poem but she/he is the one who will receive the credit!!!I wonder where they are, whether they are still with us, ill have to research it. Ill ask the school where they found it.

I've found that so many children do not know how loved they are. It is important to let them know.
One way or another.
they are our future and hope and can be all things positive. they just need some encouragement and to know that they matter. And ultimately: that someone cares!!!!

Yes Denise, not enough children are told how precious they are, I love to lavish praise on my son when he deserves it! and when he thinks he deserves it, even though i dont think he deserves it.
