to pluck or not to pluck that is the question

this weekend we went to the heartland classic show, had a great time. DD was given a polish rooster on the way to the show another bird ate his tail. should I pluck out the damaged feathers ? or wait until he molts

we also got a Black crested white hen from the same breeder. what should I breed her with the blue boy or I have a silver laced roo ????

If your son wants to show him before the next seasonal molt, then yes, pluck some feathers so that they will grow back more rapidly. If not, don't bother.
