To Roo or not to Roo

Someone help. I ordered a female but the way this gal acts makes me wonder. She’s full of spit and fire. Stands up straight to stretch and uses her claws constantly. Whether you pick her up and she fights you or tries to roost on you. Is this a roo? My husband thinks it’s is. She was also the runt (7 weeks old now) and she’s just now feathering and was sooo small compared to the other 3 that are already outside (diff breeds). She is salmon favorelle.

I don’t know-you’ll really have to wait. I have a Wyandotte that loved to attack and roost on me too, so it might be a personality thing.

She's a pullet and pullets are the ones that are hateful and rude. Cockerels as chicks are kind and sweet.

Personality aside, male and female Salmon Faverolles feather out differently. I don't see anything from your picture that looks male. Males should be getting in a darker breast and wings by now.
