To those in the PNW!

It should be good news for mushroom hunting, which I've just learned to do this Fall.

We have the Farmer's Market from 3-7 pm tonight, well into dark. At least we're in tents. Last one of the year, hurrah!

Good luck with your mushroom hunting, greyfields! When I checked in late September/early October, the ones that were up were practically dried stiff! I'm sure it will be better soon.

I know what did it! I went out and watered my raised beds Wednesday night, because the soil was getting a bit dry and it rained the next morning!

Its raining here to in Eastern Washington. Bad thing is over here its usally ends up being snow soon.

Greyfields, you're right down the road from me; wasn't it awful this morning? I had to do some fast talking to make myself get out of bed.

I'd rather have snow for a month straight than have 8 months of rain. It's so depressing! At least the kids can go out and play in the snow!

Well you know what they say. Rain is not called "Seattle sunshine", for nothin. Our island saying is that if summer falls on a saturday, we close all the buisnesses and have a big picnic,

unless it rains.

It's raining here, too! Although it's supposed to clear up tomorrow & Sunday and then SNOW by next week. Which is usually at our house until umm...May 15th or so. Unless of course, it is like last year...we had snow in mid-June!
