Have you tried the dremel style clippers? Like Pedi Paws and stuff?

We were going to try Pedipaws... well, the DH wants to, but I think the noise will scare her. I feel so bad for her... she's so neurotic! ... and the fireworks --- omg! She hates the 4th of July, poor thing. I keep her relaxed by keeping her tired and of course she gets full body massages.

I groom my dog but she is short coated so not to much work. I want to go to grooming school at somepoint when I am old enough

My wacko Chihuahua isn't freaked by the pedipaws. It isn't TOO loud, my mutt freaks when it touches her nail though because the noise changes.

I wouldn't mind learning to groom according to breed and do it just for fun. Some of the people you can never please. My grandmother was a good groomer once and the people would ask for dadada and get dadada and then say it didn't look right on their dog and didn't want to pay/

Our Pomeranian really hates to be clipped, she also hates to have a bath. To lower her level of trauma and to still get the job done I just started bathing her with nair.

Just teasing, I usually have to hold the furball while my wife trims. It's amazing the strength that tiny dog can muster when the clippers turn on.
