I am not sure I am qualified to teach preschool anymore. I am not sure how or why butI missed counted and I actually only have 6 Toads getting ready to hatch next Monday. I am thinking I will definitely be setting more as soon as they start laying and their eggs are decent sized. I don't like to do fall hatches up here in the north but I think it will be to my benefit when the time comes.

Don't be too concerned about your career...all those little nose pickers really need is a warden and a few guards 'til you can get them raised up to market size (walk a street corner at night) or prison age...whichever comes first.

Just kidding...................

Ralph, one day when your bored I'd love to see a photo shoot of all your cages. They always look so organized in the pics

LOL They might look it but that is trick photography it is a mess of cages everywhere.  I have a LOT of pens and cages.

BUT April is coming soon and your shed WILL be cleaned for inspection and you will find more space to organize! One day it will get there! I wish lived closer. We could spend a weekend "chickening"!

Mono,I agree. I know the few times I've been able to meet people who shared my passion for raising the birds,my son had to practicly drag me back home.lol

I have taken two toad roosters out of the pen with my hens. They are now spares. I had dog kennel set up for them outside the fence to the pen. It was cold and raining last night.

The toads were too stupid to go under cover. I had to carry them into my pole barn and put them in a cage inside. The first one I picked up bit me.

I am hoping I do not lose my finger over this. I have heard toad bites are dangerous.
