Toadstools

Are toadstools poisonous to chooks?
We have a lot of toadstools at home and I know they are bad for us and I have seen a couple of y chooks eat some. I chased them away but when I came back they were eaten. Should I be worried?

There are many things that animals can safely eat that are poisonous to humans. If the chickens have a plentiful supply of food, it seems unlikely that they would eat anything poisonous. I have many plants in my yard that are poisonous to chickens. My chickens forage all day long, but don't eat the poisonous plants.
