Tobacco for Chicken

Hi guys, does tobacco have any medicinal value for chicken?

Chicken shouldn't chaw a plug of tobacco unless they have lost all their teeth. Also I couldn't resist. I imagine it could help with paracites. What specifically do you have in mind? As a topical insecticide I can not imagine why not give it a try.

No, I do not believe it has any medical benefits for chickens & should not be used for birds.

From what I can find, tobacco is part of the nightshade plant family and those plants should be avoided for poultry.
