Hi everyone-wanted to share that Toby passed away yesterday morning. We don’t know why except that maybe there was something wrong that we could never get solved despite doing what members suggested and taking him to vet. Needless to say my daughter and I lost our sanity with his death. We really got attached to him and thought he was actually going to be fine. He lived for about 5 weeks. You should’ve seen him in the bathtub and the kiddie pool swimming. He loved it! Would dive bomb under his flockmates and made waves over the side of the tub! He swam so awesome I was so proud of him. We are really missing him and will take a while for that hole in our heart to heal.
So thanks again to all the members who shared their advice and thoughts.

I’m so sorry you lost Toby, you did everything you could but oftentimes there just isn’t anything anyone could do to change the outcome.

The important part is that you gave him all the love and care he needed while he was here on this earth and he knows it.
