I was weeding out some of my bloodlines of my ducks and geese a few weeks ago. Making room for new blood and perfect body's. And decided to sell either two goosey girls or a girl and my gander. (African...and I have African in my Metzer order)
So I managed to sell just one girl.... and thought ok I'll keep the trio of them and decide later what to do. Since my girls are very friendly and eat from my hands, it be said to see them go.
Well to make a long story short someone who had come to see my birds called me the other day and offered me $350 for the trio. Man I couldn't turn down the money, it would finish paying off my Metzer Visa bill. So I said ok....and kinda hoped they would change their mind and take baby's I did try to woo them that way with my Metzer baby's.
Well last night I got the call they are coming this morning to get them. Oh so sad... I'll miss them. They are only going to be about 15 minutes away and I can go visit them. And I will have more then enough baby's to deal with. and I know they will have a great home.
but still so sad...
