and as I'm taking the eggs out of the turner, 3 have pipped in the turner! Am I going to have a shot at a hatch here? Or did something go wrong? Today is day 25, and I am actually doing lockdown 3 hours early.....

One of mine pipped in the turner as well. She is now a super cuddle but and doing great. I have 4 more hatching as we speak. I finally got my cam working again too

good to know! It kinda freaked me out. I've never hatched ducks.... and seeing 3 out of 11 already pipped...well, it freaked me out. The incubator peeps once in a while. Kinda hard to hear over my 13 two day old Sumatra's carrying on!!

They arent set to a timer- so they will start trying to " bust out" just when ever they are ready... Some earlier - and some later than expected. Sometimes they can hatch a little early if the temp is too high- but 28 days is really just an average- so some can still come earlier than expected even when everything else is all running right.

You got that right. My first baby pipped a day before lock down talk about early.
