So yesterday after noon 2 of my 8 eggs started pipping. ....but its not a hole, its more like just a crack in the eggs....this morning another is like that...no change in the other 2....and none are rocking where I can see em like they had been. Also, one of my kids bumped the incubator and 2 of the eggs rolled onto their sides. My humidity Im the incubator dropped from 60 something to 58 this morning. Questions, do I need to turn the 2 eggs back to where they were? Do I add morevwater for more humidity? Should I check the eggs or just watch n wait?
Ok, I added a bit more water very quickly so as not to bother the eggs. One of the ones that Pipped over night is starting to slowly zip. Yay! The "bruised" looking egg is rocking. I have seen them all rocking today and the one I am concerned about having twins is still moving. I heard peeping while I was looking in the window. How the heck do yall leave the incubator...much less, the house!? I need to go run a couple errands and get some stuff done lol!
