today my EE's are 20 weeks, when can i expect some eggs?

My Tikka is 22 weeks and no eggs yet but my BPR also didn't lay until they were about 6 months old.

I'm waiting with you!! My 3 EEs are 20 weeks on Wednesday. From what I've been reading here, they do tend to lay later than others.

My 3 RIRs are 20 weeks tomorrow & no eggs yet. One looks almost there...

Thinking good egg thoughts for both of us

I'll let you know if I get any soon!

The Layena from Purina is what i use and my EE's started laying at 17 weeks old. My husband thinks its all the extra treats that i fed them got them laying early. They got treats everyday. They just love grapes so i have to get them each week at the grocery store.

I have 5 EE's and this is what i find each day...well almost each day. See what you will have soon!!

Oh that is an inspiring picture. I just bought some EE's and have no idea what age they are. Their combs haven't even gotten big yet. So just waiting and watching...

Most of my birds started laying from 20 to 24 weeks.

That's the brand that I use too. I really like it. I still mix mine half and half. I still have girls not laying yet.

I have 5 EE's that are 19 weeks old. Only one has started laying, such cute little green pullet eggs! The difference I see in the one that is laying (caught her in the act so I know it is a certain bird) is that her comb is very red, much more so than the other 4. I think it is very individualistic about starting to lay, just like sisters from the same family and when they start to ovulate!

Give it another month and I'll bet you have the cutest baskets of eggs...
