it was cloudy but nice today. I went out and worked on fixing my temporary swan's kiddie lake....i sat down on the ground while the water filled it up. The swans had been fussing at me all day to get it done. They eaggerly slid in and played in the cold water. As they splashed along came one of this years emu chicks, Zippy.......Splash.... In he came almost landing on one of the swans. Rio the swan bit him in a playful way. I splashed my hsnd in the water while they creeped close to me... Then my cranes came over to see what was up. They balanced themselves on the rim and jumped in and out of the water...... Chickens and alpacas wandered close by...... How many others get to enjoy all these critters interacting at once.... Today was a gooday
