well actually

it showed one heck of a good thing if you think about it, though it aggravates me that you were in a room with people talking and discussing plans, it showed you were NOT distracted from the interview.
The Interviewer is supposed to act aloof and disinterested, almost to the point of distraction. Thats the real point. See just how easily you are distracted from the task at hand. I am so pleased you passed this stupid test unscathed.
I am glad you have a second interview. It shows you are a great person for the job.

I have to agree that this person is probably just a stand in for the Manager who might have forgotten about vacation when the interview was scheduled.

Chalk this up to experience and it sounds like you did a great job of doing what your many "coaches" asked you to do. This gave you a chance to practice for the manager now.

I'm just sorry that you didn't get the job today!

Actually I found the whole sceanario darn rude of Pet Smart.... however Mark you did really well by the sounds of things, even if the interviewer was rude. As you now know that the real Manager will be back on the 11th.... send a short letter, thanking them for their time in interviewing you, and that you are looking forward to meeting the Manager for you second interview, this makes them keep you fresh in their minds.......

I was following this from work (couldn't post) and was hoping for the best. I can't believe the ignorance of people today. It's totally uncalled for. My husband had an interview with 5 other people! (No privacy there either!)

I wonder if you could bring pictures of some of your animals, or would they think your really loony? I'm hoping the best for you!

Maybe you could provide some sort of a portofolio with pics of your animals, how you keep them, breeding lines explaining your birds ect.

I got a call from Jen the girl who interviewed me and she said the Manager was swapped with work upon her return yesterday and that she will call me later this week to make a new interview date

i sent in my thank you note last week that English Chick helped me with it was so perfect i can't thank her enough for it

so we will all see later this week
