I recommend providing oyster shells not mixed in, then birds that need them can go swallow some. I am sure they pick through the feed to get what they need, at least somewhat, but I just don’t see how it could help and see how it may hurt to not provide it separately.
 
Three eggs today!!!! These two are the extremes. One giant and one pointy
