Honestly I dislike both teams.



But my dislike for New England just so happens to overwhelm my dislike for the New York.

LADIES AND GENTLEMEN, I AM DELIGHTED TO REPORT THIS EARLY MORNING THAT I HAVE A BABY. I SAY, I HAVE A BABY.



A baby, I has it.


Whatever it is is part silkie with five toes and a little bit of fur on it's legs. Long pale legs, though. SHE is stumbling around the incubator squealing and knocking into everyone else.

As for the other pips from last night not much has progressed with them except I have another pip that's calling from inside its shell.



COUNTRYBOY: Told you I was in danger. They haven't quite channeled the forces or called in the UFO's yet, but I fear my time is little.

new chick i am following your progress as i am hatching some my self for the first time i am now at the cherping and egg moving stage and your reports have givin me what i needed to watch and lisin for and a time line i am father of 3 and grand father of 6 and never ben this nervis this is making my 62 year old heart beat a little faster LOL . thank you for sharing your experience with all of us it is helping me get through this LOL. good luck on the rest of your hatch. mine were put in 1-14-08 so today is day 21 for my bunch !!using a little giant still air incubator with an auto egg turner whitch i removed 2 days a go to stop turning
50% humidity for first 18 days and 71% for last 3 days
temp was 100 top of egg and 96'5 at bottom of egg's
now looking for the air fan befor next batch is put in !!
sure love retirement now doing things i allways wanted to do but never had the time . .

FarmTrac270: I'm happy to know that my reports have helped you. I wish you the best of luck on your hatch, you'll have little chicks in no time. It sure is EGGciting, isn't it? It's been a wonderful experience for me. When I saw the first little baby in the incubator my heart got fluttery and I got that "warm fuzzy" feeling. Most people will tell you to sit back and relax but as a first timer myself I know that is NOT possible. Try to remember to breathe! What are you hatching? I'd love to see pictures when you get chicks.
