Ewwwww! Hahahaha - it’s like those crazy chooks drinking from the crappy puddles in the barn yard! A good vintage of wild water I imagine…. Meanwhile the clean fresh water is ignored!

I never realised my chickens are so sophisticated compared to all of yours. Mine prefer to take a bath in the very sandy sand between some herbs like lemon balm, thyme, mint and chives.

No dead chickens today.

Sounds very swanky!

Ugh. I wish (after the fact) I had taken a picture, but just now I decided to check the brooder and my Deathlayer chicks had it's head inside and hanging down into the food bowl (empty) and had that sort of flattened out shape that dead and in rigor bodies chicks have.

Poked it and she woke up. Ughhhhhhh. Thankful and annoyed.

My chickens like to drink champagne .

No , now serious. They are not that spoiled. My chickens love the puddles too. Probably bc of the taste and the minerals in the sand.

But even better was the overripe tomato I gave them yesterday. The left over juice was very well appreciated.
I give them special herbal supplements in the water sometimes too (during summer - against red mite). They like the taste. And is as pricy as a bottle of champagne. Glad 5 ml in 1 liter is enough. And it only gets in the nipple container to avoid spilling.


If you want to offer a variety give a little juice in the water or something else that has a good taste (and is healthy).
