Sounds to me like that was going to happen anyway. Not your fault. Any stress would have caused it or no stress at all. Who knows? But we do know that we can move lots of chickens and nothing happens. Good for you on the new ones. Sorry that happened.

Aren't RIR's prone to "stress related deaths".

I thought I read that somewhere.

I had 2 RIR's that I gave to a friend and she said one of them just up and died for no reason.
