IMO, if a child is kidnapped, it's less scary when it's the non-custodial parent. You know why they did it. They aren't likely to hurt the child. They are easier to find. Still not a good situation, I know.
When I asked you guys to pray about that Amber Alert last week, I "knew" it was a parent. Just because of the holiday timing, and the vehicle being out of state. I found out more a few days later.
The child is an 8-month-old girl. She's fine. The police were alerted when the mother was found murdered. The father is dead too now. I think he killed him self. I forget.

I hope she doesn't. We live in a world of drama. Children do not need to be reminded of what they've been through. Family members will constantly remind her of what happened. She will be in therapy for the rest of her life, and never take responsibility for anything. "It isn't my fault I do bad things! My father killed my mother over drugs, and kidnapped me."
