Toddlers are Quackers

This is a total classic from Dd#2

Duckling wet again overnight. Oh well!
She slept for twelve full hours, and as she started downstairs, told me she accidentally got a little pee on the back of her panties. I thought maybe she had used the potty in her room, and not pulled her underwear down enough. Instead, it had just soaked into the bedding so much that she didn't really feel it. Score! I used enough padding to protect the mattress! I really need to put plastic on the bed.
I have her room set up to allow her to actually be a little girl. She can reach all of her clothes, and wipes are accessible for cleaning herself after an accident soon (we will work on that). So I ushered her back upstairs, and explained that she needed to undress, and then use the wipes so she could get clean. I encouraged her to get her clothes out. :lau She wore Pepto pink socks, a fluorescent green shirt, and purple overalls. :love It was adorable. She had me put the straps on her shoulders, but she did the rest.
She is facing so many changes, but taking care of herself is a good thing because she can control something. Y'all may have already realized that, but I'm saying it anyway. :P

If you get drunk faster putting alcohol in through your bottom, do you wake up faster if you put coffee in the other mouth?
I accidentally did that this morning. If it had been hot or cold, it would certainly have been a quick wake up! But it was warm. No, I didn't have an urge to go to the bathroom. Sadly, I didn't change for a few hours! I was more annoyed about the bottom of my shirt getting wet.
I don't think I'm anymore awake for it. I certainly won't be attempting a repeat!!

Good job on that mattress protection! Not so much on the coffee sitting.

I'm 50% on actually DRINKING my coffee the past 2 days. Each of my kids, my husband, and I have all spilled a cup.

My husband is gone for a little over a week again. I might be on here a lot, because 4 year old logic combined with him thinking the 2 year old is in charge... ("She said I'm not allowed to play with that!" "Buddy, it's yours. You can play with it." "No!" "See? She SAID!" "She's not in charge, buddy." "But.... she SAID!")
