Toddlers are Quackers

Just made popcorn on the stove for the first time. The kids and I are pretty happy with it. Now to go handle chicks. The 8 of them are randomly milling around and stop moving as soon as they see me. The Brahmas and EE snuggle my son. The EE and Buff Orpingtons snuggle with my daughter. The Marans and EE snuggle with me (the EE is social). The Lavender Orpington is smaller and weirder than everyone.

Duckling is at the stage when sucking on French fries, then saying she’s done is normal. She didn’t protest when I said to eat them though. She was excited to cut the potatoes into fries (she pushed the plunger on the slicer) then arrange them on the pan.
She ate my cheesecake, asked for more, licked it, and was done.
She’s now being a smarty pants by doing sign language. I need to keep that up with her. It’s pretty cool to see how proud she is of her secret language.

Not crazy at all...but if we aren't keeping the bones for making broth we just throw the carcass in the run whole and let the birds clean it themselves. Just retrieve the cleaned bones later before allowing a dog into the area.
I have 3 coops with birds so i have to divide it up. Plus there was about 10 lbs left on there and i just want them to have a bit at a time.

Here i am waiting for turkey to cool so i can strip the meat off the bones for my chickens and guineas. Am i nuts or what?
that sounds like way too much work, i just throw the whole thing in
