Toddlers are Quackers

I had just fallen asleep last night, when I heard the sobbing. She couldn’t tell me why she had been up, so I figured she had been sleep walking. She’s been sleeping with me either in my bed or out on the porch quite often lately. She keeps talking in her sleep. Anyway, I didn’t have the energy to carry her back upstairs, and quite frankly I miss her. So it just worked to bring her to my room (yes, we sleep on different floors). We slept until 8:30. It was great!
Turns out she fell out of bed. A relief since sleepwalking is a big problem!
Tossing clothes in. She kept teasing about adding bleach so that my black clothing would get ruined.

I measured, but she did all the work.

Finally back asleep.

Since I can’t find my tent, I got another one. We will be camping out this weekend. She wants to sleep in a play tent. The kind she has to sit cross legged in. I told her she could put it inside the big tent. I know it’s not going to last long. Good thing I ordered a big tent!

The tent smells of cat just from her being in there for about twenty minutes. I’ll keep the screens open, and be sure she’s bathed if she goes in after supper.

She keeps saying she wants to go to sleep, but so far no luck. Soon! Very soon!
I’m very happy to have these experiences with her. I married into a family of RV campers. She is so happy to be outside with me. A real tent is just so exciting!
I got chewed out for leaving the door unzipped. The dog was still jumping in and out (his water is outside)!

We made it! Oh my goodness I hurt though! I about froze until I rearranged the blanket. Tonight I'll have the tent closer to the house where vehicles won't be so loud. I got out my yoga mat. Duckling laid her head on it in the kitchen while I started coffee, then used it as a body pillow while I was getting electronics plugged in. She lost her balance, and fell off it. She grinned and tried again.
We went back out to deal with the animals, and she just dropped her sleeper there in the open to use the potty I'd just taken from the tent. To be so free!

I love hearing about them!!
And my daughter started having potty training issues right befor kindergarten and the doctors weren't worried, none of them nor the teachers I had talked to had seen a kid in diapers at school

This is about laziness. And they fully intend to keep her in pull ups into kindergarten. I’ve had to hear all about it.

They wouldn't take kids in diapers at preschool in Canada. DS had to learn quick.
