parade candy.

I have not seen Duckling since I last posted. She was bummed when I said I wasn’t going to fireworks with her. I heard her complain to her aunt when she arrived to pick her up.
She’s 4 now. I’m trying to not think about.... anything. Not having custody stinks.

So sorry, hope they turn her over to you.

I was wondering how your holiday was. Sorry to hear this. :hugs

I had a cousin that was in special ops. He passed away because he couldn’t say where he’d been, so they couldn’t diagnose what he’d contracted. He was ironically preceded in death by his wife. By the time they found her brain tumor, it was too late.
They had twins. One boy. One girl. They are 16. Yesterday, Laura (no need to protect her name) had a stroke while playing volleyball. The surgery was done this morning, but she’s not doing well. 75% of her brain was affected, and she’s back in surgery to relieve the swelling. It’s going to take at least five hours to operate.

That is awful! Hope she recovers and is ok!
