Toddlers are Quackers

Currently our newest foster son #4 in the house is 22 months old. We've had him 2 weeks and he is definitely more difficult. If my husband holds him he cries, if my husband asks him to come to him when I'm busy he cries, when my husband just talks in general he cries. I have an almost 2 year old, 3, 4 and 5 year old. The other three were so easy and go back home around August but this baby is hell bent on being difficult.

Awe! :hugs Poor kid for being so scared, and poor you for needing to be the sole parent to him. It sounds like he was removed from a very angry male.
When he isn’t shying away from your husband, does he play with the others?
Yeah, its weird. Its a love/hate relationship. He is starting to shows signs of warming up. Sometimes I get so tired I have to hand him to my husband and he cries until bedtime. It's getting better though. we have figured out if I run out of a room before he sees me he doen't cry as bad or at all when my husband has him. He plays with the other kids with no problems. He use to ignore them but loves them now.

Idk what you guys know them as. Poppers/snappers/litter makers...
I let Duckling use them today. She wasn’t all smiley and obviously amazed, but she definitely liked doing it, and occasionally smiled. I think she was just concentrating on popping them.
