Toddlers are Quackers

Cap, since we don’t follow the same threads, I’ll tell you here.
The quail are three weeks old tomorrow, and I did not know they could fly. Thank goodness the dog was in the other room, or I would be missing my favorite quail!
Yeah, they learn to fly early. Danged guinea keets would jump right out of the incubator when i opened it. Right down behind the dresser, in danger of cat pouncing.

So far, they have pretty much just jumped into my hand. Occasionally, I’ve had one jump out of the brooder. Maybe three times.
My Muscovy is three -years -old now, and I only saw her fly for the first time a month ago. She sometimes jumps into the nest box, and will roost on occasion. Otherwise, she has stayed grounded. Apparently the smow was bothering her that day, because she took off. She only did a circle before gliding down.

Maybe you should trim one wing.

You want conversation? Maaco chewed up my favorite bra. I don’t mean from Walmart either.:mad::mad:
Well he is a shark

they fly way too well for their stupid little brains

Hi :frow just passing through

I finished building a website today for my farm https://jlbarfarm.com/ I left work last year to take care of my husband and kids because my husband was struggling so much. Still wrestling with the idea of part time but hubby gets real fussy about what he thinks I could do. He's still not come to terms with being disabled and it's been 8 years now, lol. Princess is doing well, and is getting speech therapy for her issues, she qualified for assistance because she's considered 10% legible, however she's top of her preschool class!

I wish you guys could hear it the way Duckling said it, but you might be able to imagine well enough to laugh.
Yesterday we were shopping, and Duckling was bouncing her huge pink ball. So I started doing Marco Polo. It’s what I do when she’s in the tub, and I’m folding laundry or something in my room. When I can hear her chattering, but not see her. It lets me know she hasn’t drowned.
The ball was in the cart, but she was constantly looking at something, so I kept calling Marco. She keeps saying, “Olo!” At one point, she bumped a strip, and it fell. She gave a sad voiced, “Sorry, Olooo.” :lau:lau:lau
