Toddlers are Quackers

Tough gig, M C. But having that many cable ties is a bit worrying. Takes all sorts I guess...
But you don't understand. In baseball, the double play is a pitcher's best friend. So it is with chicken people & cable ties. That's what I, and several others, hold chicken yard fences up with

It don't gotta be pretty; it's just gotta work. How else can you move an entire fence using only a pair of wire cutters and a fresh supply of cable ties, to say nothing of keeping the chickens occupied pecking at all the pretty colors? Mine like the yellow ones best.

I'm happy to confess my ignorance

I use deer netting (a thin plastic. Heavier than the light spider web stuff called bird netting) to cover the run for the turkeys. Each section is about four feet wide. I use the tiny zip ties to keep each section together.
When going away for my brother-in-law's funeral, I realized there was a hole in the side of the fence for the chicken run. I used a small piece of fencing and some zip ties to repair the hole.

I want some wine, but I am down to another bottle of peach or a bottle I got to put in the Crock pot. I would want either one chilled or the one obviously heated.
My slow cooker is currently in use. I bought some guppies for the ducks, and told Duckling she could put them in the pool tomorrow, She is still new to fish (no one lets her see the tanks at Walmart) so she is not likely to forget.
OMG! She got back about half an hour ago. She was sleeping in the car, but awake enough when I asked her the dog's name to smile and say, "Apple Juice!"
I think that is pretty funny!
