Toddlers are Quackers

Duckling was dead asleep when I went up. I picked her up, and hugged her. She told me down. I said I needed to change her. She told me no as she admired her BYC shirt in the mirror. Then she decided she was too tired to walk downstairs, and I may pick her back up.

I went to change her, and the beads from the diaper went everywhere! Unfortunately, they were inside her diaper. I'm not disturbed by pee filled beads on the floor. I felt bad about having to get them out of her privates.
We went to make French toast, and she touched the griddle. Now, she knew it was hot. But, sometimes you need to get burned to understand. Even if you are an adult.
We then listened to "We Are the World". I do not remember that song being so long!! The toast finished, and we went to get the mommas and babies out of the garden. Washed poop off her feet, came in... The song was still on!

How else will she know what hot is unless she experiences it.

I TAKE the trash out....but I guess since he was off work last night he decided to help and he took it out...
ARGH!

AND my darn trash mad doesn't usually come til the afternoon.
I'm really mad not only because I wanted Duckling to have it but my husband has no problem basically throwing money away...(Good stuff)

Did you get the plastic out of the oven?

The trash is one of my pet peeves. I absolutely hate taking it out. I have learned that if I want it out of the kitchen, I have to take it myself, but I refuse to take it out to the end of the driveway.

Today is our pickup day. I was leaving the house just as hubby was about to leave. I got to the end of the driveway and texted him "2 bags of trash by the back door".

I'm sorry your stuff got taken out....

My husband wouldn't even do that. No lawnmowing either.
