She doesn't spend much time building. I was surprised that she spent so long with one thing today. Even if it was co-play. If she would play alone more, I would be happy too. I did love seeing her have so much fun.

Monkey likes her baby dolls.Duckling is mediocre about the stuffed animals. Dolls she likes though. Horses she can rip the heads off of are her ultimate favorite.
Simple answer: the other "adults" in her life are lying to youQuick review. I was using the griddle, Duckling knew it was hot. She touched it with her fingertip, and cried out. I ran her hand under cold water. No mark. She made me kiss her finger. That night, I saw a mark on her arm when bathing her. I GRABBED her arm, applying pressure while she played. I did not get a reaction.
She was at my MIL's house, and she was told that I had done it (not sure of the conversation, only that her father said that I had done it on the oven). She mentioned it when her father left, and I was bathing her. My MIL had put something odd on it. Maybe bacon grease. She is old school.
It's been several days, and now there is scabbing, and I am told she has been picking at it. I removed the bandage, and she has not mentioned it or touched it.
So, why did it scab, and when did it happen? If it happened on the griddle, why did she not once mention it, and why have I been able to grab it from the start? if it were a second degree burn, why was it a light pink from the start with no odd look to it? Never puckered, shiny, or wet looking.
