peoples I have a Broody Pullet

IDK what to do I am in SWMI and winter can be kinda harsh if I let her hatch her baby will it survive the winter?

She will take care of them and keep them warm until they can do it themselves

thank you! my 5y is all about having a baby chicken around should I take her out of the coop or do anything at all with her? she has taken up in one of the less used boxes (most of them lay in the goat hay bin or under the boxes)

should I move her? she is in the coop in a lesser used box I think she was the only one to actually use it. But can she stay out there with Doctor Roo and the rest of the ladies or should I move her to a more secluded area

Only you can answer that question. It depends on the other flock members. Mom will protect the babies once they are born, but if another hen is laying in the box as well, it can get confusing unless the broody eggs are marked. Then you have to disturb her daily to remove extra eggs.

ok so far no one has bothered her except for my nosey self, she has one real egg and one fake egg that I put in the box ages ago to entice proper laying , when I checked her I moved the fake one to another box and she took it back
