I've never had a broody but chaos and MC havethank you! my 5y is all about having a baby chicken around should I take her out of the coop or do anything at all with her? she has taken up in one of the less used boxes (most of them lay in the goat hay bin or under the boxes)
you have a Nuscovy?

Doesn't everyone?
It will be fine.Hatch away!![]()
should I move her? she is in the coop in a lesser used box I think she was the only one to actually use it. But can she stay out there with Doctor Roo and the rest of the ladies or should I move her to a more secluded area
Only you can answer that question. It depends on the other flock members. Mom will protect the babies once they are born, but if another hen is laying in the box as well, it can get confusing unless the broody eggs are marked. Then you have to disturb her daily to remove extra eggs.
