My poor turkey hen Ladybird hatched a single poult yesterday, then, in excitement of her first baby, promptly smooshed it accidentally. I feel bad for her, she seemed lost last night. Next spring I will let her try again.

usually I do that however if I make multiple pots and don't get through the last one Nick will drink the leftover coffee when he gets up

I am pretty certain that ALL Four of my precious Pekin's are laying big beautiful eggs

I am crazy excited I have a slew of birthdays and holiday parties coming up and we are insanely addicted to the duck eggs

What is leftover coffee?

Awe!

left over coffee happens when I am on my 2nd-3rd pot and I forget I still have coffee OR when I don't feel like getting up at 330 in the morning to make him coffee so I actively leave enough in the pot for a travel mug and switch to cocoa or tea or even instant
