Ouch! Poor little Duckling! There must be something in the air. DD1 fell off one of our sloped outdoor steps yesterday & went down hard. She's got an ankle the side of a baseball & cant walk on it, even a little. A couple days before that, her beloved Button quail died (totally unexpected.) The poor kid has really had a crap week!

PS. We're a houseful of chicken huggers too. They even hug the duck, but the duck hates it.

I am hurting (cold fingers and arthritis plus pain in my neck that has been lingering for a few days) so I hate posting sometimes.
Buuuuuuuut! What was I going to respond to? Hmmm.
Kids that won't move out of harm's way. It's a kid thing (goat and human). Especially boys.
Duckling dumped her Cheerios on me, and I was shocked that she did it deliberately. Then I realized that it was past nap time. Oops! That was my fault. I made her clean them all up alone (there weren't many) then we went to bed. No talking, she did do something wrong. But ya can't reprimand, then expect a person to sleep!
Hmmm... I don't remember anything else right now.

Duckling was messing with the dog. He is more okay with it in the morning (getting her up is a favorite time for him. IDK why). But he was eating her scrambled eggs, and I was keeping the peace by correcting his growling, and reminding her how to behave (messing with his head while he was eating was the only thing he was objecting to).

My sister used to run face first into Stop signs while riding her bicycle. She is still a klutz.
