Toddlers are Quackers

Yea I've heard that if socialized when little turkeys and ducks will follow you around like a dog. None of mine ever have though.
Our EE flock will attempt to jump on your back/shoulders if you're not paying attention.

They dont usually follow us around though.

Our goats do. And sometimes the chickens will go see what the goats are doing.

My dog is scared/has a healthy respect of the goats. They've rammed her a few times. My pregnant goat has ZERO patience for dogs. She even nailed her through the fence when my dog was leaning on it watching the chickens.

I don't know what the turkey's will end up doing, but I could see this batch following you around if they thought you had something to eat.

I hope to keep my call babies inside as long as possible

I may be divorced by spring lol
There's an idea. Let them have your bed, too. ;o

None of my birds will try to ambush me like that :idunno

I catch my Big Red Tom regularly for molesting. Keeps him humbled. And I like watching him change color when I rub his head in just the right way, it seems that it gets rather itchy. They gulp air, so whenever I catch him and give him a little squeeze when I move him around or whatever, he burps air like a leaky valve. Never ceases to amuse me.

I forgot about that sound. It has some important reason. It isn't really a burp.

Don't you already have inside animals that might frown upon this?
My dog doesn't chase the ducks just the chickens, it's weird

And the cats I don't think will care BUT I can put the ducks in the basement and latch the door so the cats can go up an down but the dog can't

The hubby, well, my child will work on him ;)

Only a few of mine will. Jazzy does it randomly, and Enya only does it when the feed runs out.

i could see my rhode island red getting finicky if we ever run out of feed... or fail to feed them for a night.

What's funny, is my younger pack, LOVES tomatoes, but my rhode island red, and Cochin Roo, both refuse to eat them.
