Toddlers are Quackers

Liz, I have you guys to thank for my lack of stress over replacing outgrown clothes. I am constantly thanking God for the generosity of others.
Real boots are the one thing I struggle with for little kids. Booger Butt could not have H-D boots until he was about seven.

At the moment, Duckling has enough toys for her to have a selection, but not an insane amount. I like that she is still young enough that I can buy diapers, and she would be happy. Her birthday meant lots of stuff to open. A needed; bathing suit, baseball hat (Frozen for both) 3 books, tub crayons and a toy. I just threw out the cloth ribbon after three months. It was still her favorite toy. Yes, I watched that she didn't strangle herself.
My mother calls herself "Grandma" and buys Duckling gifts too. She lives three hours away now (she was living in MA for a while) and has met Duckling a few times. It was love at first sight for both. :lau Duckling was simply amazed at everything my mother said and did. While shopping, Duckling did her first self chosen wave, and to a stranger!! :love
I think Christmas from me is going to be puzzles and her stocking. The big gift will be that I am "doing" Christmas. DH has me pretty messed up when it comes to holidays. Christmas is the worst. I will decorate this year and have a tree. I am not sure if I can handle the decorations that are upstairs somewhere. I might just buy a few new things.

MC I might have some boots to send you later on but they be rather large for her now and I will let you know that I don't like Christmas just for the fact that it's so commercialized and drive me crazy that I'm expected to spend spend spend and I don't have the money to do so

DH thinks he should get everything on his list. We could spend $3,000 easy just for us for Christmas.
Booger Butt got an iPod touch without asking. Plus accessories.

I might have some sneakers I can send. My daughter never wore her sneakers. Like... ever. I've donated like 6 pairs in the last 2-3 years that looked brand new.
