you don't strike me as a woman, that overly cares for someone telling you what you can and can't do.

My husband dictated when I was allowed to eat, drink, sleep, wake, shower and use the toilet. I was not allowed to brush my teeth more than two or three times a week, showering alone was rare. I had time limits in the bathroom, and he burst into the ladies room once because I took too long to pee.

I will do what I am told. But I have the ability to be in control. I've managed stores and dogs respect me.
my wife and I have a very traditional marriage, but don't think for a second, that I have that amount of control.....seems a bit excessive. I'd never think of trying to be so much in control, that she loses her identity.

My first late fiancé was from Stone Mountain, GA. I always wanted another southerner after that.
