My last broody, her sister went broody about a week before the chicks were due. Sis#2 tried to horn in on Sis#1's eggs. So I waited for them to hatch, and moved Sis#1 with the babies (one had only pipped, but hatched that night). So I gave Sis#2 some eggs out of my incubator.

Now, these are the ones that are due Thursday/Friday. I'm hoping to give the 8 in the incubator to Sis#2 to raise when they hatch, hoping as many hatch around the same time. Should that work?? (she has 4, I have 8 in the bator) (not to mention 10 in the other bator, different breed)

It should. That's what I am doing. Only, this is the second round. The two girls went broody a week apart. All the eggs were rotten, so these are all new eggs set at the same time.

I sold all my sebrights got some new breeds going and decided to cut one out, so since they were the unfriendliest birds, they lost. They were beautiful though.
