Well, I got beat up pretty bad, but the six active chicks are with the moms. I was quite nervous with how things were going. They were so busy beating me up, that the chicks were getting tossed about. It only lasted a very long minute, before they both seemed to settle down and start clucking softly.

Sounds like they are happy to have some chicks.... hopefully all adjust well.

Of the two that are out, but still in the incubator, one is a boy. Very thick legs! They occasionally peep, and will move if I touch them. I think they just need time to get up their energy. One was given Nutri drench, but I do not want to open the incubator again to give it to the other. The egg that was pipped earlier, has been rocking. I do still think that all of the eggs could hatch. I am not sure I will live through giving the chicks to the moms though!
