Toddlers are Quackers

I wonder how much Duckling is going to help today? I just keep seeing her working in my mind. Pulling that rake with all her might.

They make toddler gloves, but I don't own any. I don't think winter mittens will work well. Oh well!
Did you know they make play and real toddler oven mitts? I almost missed that one set was play. Ironically, they cost more than real ones.

Tell her she can throw the rocks in to the run instead of trying to rake them in

What kind of plans?

I have to go home, ride my bike (75 minutes), lift my weights (15 minutes) clean 2 coops, mow grass, bake a bread pudding recipe I wanted to try a modification to, put away the canned chicken and broth from our butchering this week, do a load of laundy, run the vacuum, pack for camp and have coffee with a friend who is dropping off his 2 dogs who are staying with Radioman and I for the week while they go to the beach.

I got tired reading that.

The chickens illustrate a point. I am not as crazy as some think (know) to close and lock the run door. It is possible that a predator that knew where the door was from past experience would not look around the perimeter again. That being said, there are footprints in the run. I don't know if it is big paw claws or bird nails. It could have been the chickens before bed, and I didn't see or disturb the prints when Duckling and I were messing around. Or, the doves were already there.
LOL! The neighbor's bantam BCM was waiting at the run door, wanting in!

That's funny about the neighbors bird wanting in.

LOL

Not as bad as it sounds, many of the projects can overlap if timing is planned out right. And the dogs are a joy, they are best buds with our 2 dogs so they love coming for play dates...even when they last a week.
That's good that the dogs all get along.
