I wouldn't get one..... I had several, and they were terrible. They bit hard enough to draw blood!!

You must not be a very good bird keeper than None of the ones I've ever had were mean like that

The idea of a bird throwing it's poop and food around in the house is just too much for me.

I have definitely considered that. I am afraid I would kill it just for the heck of it. I know I can eat it, so why not?

Well, the two I got as adults never tamed down, one was very nice, and two bit me very hard whenever I got near them..... Not sure why the difference!
I read all I could on budgies and did what the books said..... But maybe they just don't like me.

Through everything that was said to me tonight, the question of whether or not I had adopted Duckling or not was most surprising. I have to wonder why he asked that. I wonder why he said everything he said to me.
