Toddlers are Quackers

 I brought four cartons of the fresh eggs (since the 30th) and didn't wash them. I didn't think they would be refrigerated. Two cartons are cardboard. They are the ones my sister put in a chest of ice. :gig
The eggs are floating around in there now!

Seen you here quite a bit lately. I gather you live pretty close to Abi. I'm about 3 hrs. east.

Good morning!
Yep, I am about an hour from her...have been to her house delivering eggs and for other projects a few times.
My husband just drove by your way an hour or so ago, headed to Delaware to pick up a boat motor since ours blew up last week.
My Mom is originally from Southern Md, so I am down your way a couple times a year to visit family and fish the lower Potomac. If you ever need a 'chicken train' delivery to the north just drop me a line and I can probably help out on one of my southern trips.

Quote: I'll keep that in mind, though I'm not likely to be wanting to send anything anywhere. I just keep enough for eggs for the two of us and the local family, and sell a few.
Next time you're around this way you'll have to give me a shout and stop by; would enjoy meeting you. I had the distinct pleasure of meeting Abi a few months ago, and spending about two hours with her over a meal, and went up to get my current rooster from Jess in February.

Quote: Yeah, that was an interesting trip to Jess' house. Took a wrong turn and wound up on a fenced area, no trespassing signs everywhere, and the only exit I could find was blocked by a locked gate. I could see the road I needed to be on, but couldn't get around the gate 'cause of soft ground on the right and a big ditch on the left. Called Jess and she and hubby came to rescue me.

The updated bathrooms are one person rooms. They are all very spacious, with a toilet, sink and shower. They are unfortunately unisex. So you never quite sure why the floor is wet. Of course, being unisex has its advantages. One I just thought of, is the way the world is today.
Next to the toilet, there is an AC/heating unit. I am going to leave that statement there.
