Toddlers are Quackers

mine saw that I had short bread cookies, asked for a couple, them promptly crumpled them up and threw them all over the kitchen floor. At least yours is eating.

I had to let the dog in to vacuum the tiles for me. LOL
Ugh! I hate that! Wasted food is annoying. But when they take your food to waste...

She's probably getting ready for another growth spurt. She looks adorable in her black bibs & hat!
Thank you!

PS. I really hate math. Can somebody please explain why we'll ever need to know Prime Factorization???
LOL! I have a cartoon for that, but it is on my phone.

My favorite nights are the ones that she lets me leave the room, and she is singing to herself. Tonight was one of them!

She has named the unicorn Acorn. Since she knows that word so well (ha ha) and can't quite say "unicorn". Acorn went out to the coops with us. And we all know that that is a bad idea. I was tempted to wash her, but Lysol was good enough for what she went through.
If you guys knew how many times Duckling has tried to eat an acorn... LOL! I think she is just surprised that I don't care.

poor acorn. we went out and worked with all our roosters, with my daughter, to show her how to treat a hen, vs a rooster. the roosters dislike being treated like hens. they like being respected, so we were showing her how to handle them with out challenging their authority, while still proving she's bigger and deserves respect.

I got pooped on. twice. LOL

But, the animals did a lot better after we showed her some techniques to work with the chickens based on sex and she was able to pet all of them after that, with out having to corner them to get close to them.

My flock isn't as docile. As inside babies, they get lots of attention. Outside it is up to them. I have had some babies that sat on me for cuddles. I especially had turkey babies. My original turkeys loved me. I would sit in the pen, and they would surround me, wanting attention. No treats. I rarely even gave them corn. But I did always spend more time interacting with them.
