I am more interested in how you keep those diapers from leaking? I can't say I have ever used them (there is no way to say that that Chaos can't make a joke.

), I don't think there is a generic diaper around that can contain this child's pee! Sometimes poop either! There was a period where all diapers leaked. It stopped when I began paying attention to the cuffs. IDK if she was moving differently or what, but that seemed to work.
So, does anyone have luck with an off brand diaper? How many diapers a day does your toddler go through? How close are they to potty training?
How is Princess? Is she speaking now?

I had my oldest DD potty trained by 18 months. We started at 15 months and she was done with diapers by 18. She was dry through out the night, starting around 12 months though.
My toddler has peed a few times on the potty. He was scared of it at first, but he's doing better. He likes to take his diapers off and pee outside... so I let him do that. He also doesn't like to sit in wet diapers, so I don't change him as often right now because I want him to learn that sitting in pee, isn't fun. He can take his own diapers off, so eventually, he'll pull them off or ask to be changed - both of those have been a milestone my older kids did before potty training.

I found for him, he needs pull ups. We have too many issues with regular diapers on his frame now.

My only problem is pull ups do pull down easily and he is obsessed with pulling them off, so I have to catch him in time if he poops, or he gets it all over his clothes.

I use generic diapers for the baby, I don't have many blow outs with her, I've been lucky so far. LOL she's in size 3, atm. (Same size my toddler is in.)

Also - my oldest refused to potty train. He was about 4 when he took off a poopy diaper, cleaned himself up, put the dirty diaper in my dryer, turned the dryer on, then changed himself.

I refused to put diapers on him after that day. Told him if he could change himself, he could use the **** toilet.

He still has accidents occasionally though, at almost 13. :/

Ahhhh! To be a one mother household! I had Duckling done (D-O-N-E-! DONE!) back in March/April. Then I went away, and she stopped using the potty. i was getting somewhere until last week. Maybe it is because she doesn't feel well. Maybe it was Memphis... She doesn't care when she is wet or dirty. She is used to it because no one ever changes her elsewhere.

That sucks :(

I always changed upon first morning wake up. then a couple hours after that, around lunch, a couple hours after lunch, dinner, then right before bed. (I also change just if it feels too heavy, or a poop)

The nicu when my son was in there, changed on a 4 hour schedule. I change every 2-3 hours, unless I'm out, then sometimes I'll go 4-5 hours between changes if they aren't too wet or complaining.

Newborns, I change middle of the night for the first few weeks, but after about 2-3 months, most of my babies are dry, then fill the diaper up as soon as they wake up. I hate wasting diapers, so if it's dry, I don't change it. haha

I'm slightly OCD about routines... it's my autism. I like schedules.
