You guys know that she wears 3 or 4T well. Her father was adamant that she wears 8's and 10's. I am wrong about the sizes. I said she must have really grown in the last few weeks! He was not happy with me.
So she was picked up wearing clothes that were too big because it's what they bring me to send her away in.
She came back with a too big dress over her clothes, and her sneakers. Her hair pulled back with an ugly (for the costume) hair tie. Then she was whisked away. Poor kid was still groggy from my having to wake her from her nap.

That sucks. I'm sorry she has to experience that kind of parenting. They really are something else.

Hopefully tomorrow.
I am not sure if I got around to posting pictures of yesterday. The night before, she had chosen a nightgown after her bath. By an hour before bedtime, she was overtired and I was sorry I had waited so long to bring her up. In an attempt to get her to stop crying, I asked if she wanted to look at her new clothing. She is a little girl after all!
She immediately grabbed a very soft pink coat! She put it on, and put the hood up. She flat out refused to take it off to go to bed.
The next morning, she still would not take it off! Fortunately, the nightgown was long and warm. Outside we went!

I pointed out the dirt in the canister when she was done vacuuming. I said, "look what you sucked up!"
"Suck up?"
"Yes! Suck it up!" ( it gets better!)
She bends over to look me in the eye, and said, "You diiid?!"
"Yes."
"Really?" She asked skeptically. :gig
