BERWICK, Pa. (AP) — State police say an Amber Alert for a 2-year-old Pennsylvania girl turned out to be a false alarm.

Two-year-old Alexis Weber's family reported she had been abducted from their Berwick home about 7 p.m. Sunday and that her mother's car, a 2005 yellow Ford Mustang might have been stolen in the process.


But police say they found that the girl was in the car, which somehow rolled down a driveway and into a wooded area. Police believe the girl's mother may have forgotten to put the vehicle in “park”.

The Amber Alert was canceled early Monday.


The toddler was taken for a medical evaluation.

I'm more disturbed by the photo. You guys could pick Duckling out in a crowd... okay. I've seen other toddlers that look like her. But you know that a fuzzy picture is not something I'd be handing to the police.
Though I've seen the pictures her parents take. You can't tell what it's of!
