yep see, you can really get Oxyclean to work on your stains it doesn't do anything for me

DD went to Uni and never cleaned out her room despite promises.
I gave in and did it a couple of months ago because we had a guest staying. OMG grossest thing ever.
I WAS THE MOM In the video clip MC's just posted.
Back packs with lunches still in them from high school. I won't go into details but it was so gross that I threw out much of the unwashed etc.

Anyway I have not seen her for almost a year but she is flying back tonight

Trick with oxyclean for old set in stains is use far more than they suggest and pre soak for 24 hours in (initially) warm water.

It is not so good for some inks or rust.
Finger nail polish remover (acetone) is great for inks

I woke up yesterday with pinkeye. I used to get this constantly as a teenager, but haven't had it in 30yrs... What a nightmare!!!

My niece in Ohio has lice for the second time in what seems like only a few months. I'm sure she got it from camp, but they're supposed to check for that stuff before camp!!!! It finally got me to put some treatment in my basket on Amazon. Just so I don't forget what I want to use on Duckling when it happens to her.
We used Nix growing up. There is also a preventative. Shampoo, conditioner and a leave-in conditioner. The regular conditioner is also usable as a leave-in. Great idea for when there is an infestation. With seven children, and five being girls, lice was a big deal in my house! My oldest sister was the most afraid of getting it. I remember her walking around the house with a pillowcase over her head! I am tempted to order some of the leave in sprints for camping in a few weeks. I'm sleeping with my niece.

Lice are horrible! One year my daughter kept getting it from school. I know it was school cause we had not been anywhere else and she was the only child in the home at the time. She was in 5th grade and the school refused to check heads! Said the kids were too old for that. When I finally threw a big enough fit to give her her own locker it stopped.

Ok, I'm not kidding... One of the reasons I homeschool my kids is my EXTREME, irrational fear of lice.

Fifth grade is actually a great time to be checking heads!!
I have Teatree oil, and I think it might work alone. I should look that up. Just for my knowledge.
I'm sharing because someone, sometime is going to be grateful for the knowledge. Besides. This is my thread, so I'm allowed!
