Making paper snowflakes is VERY frustrating for a 5 year old who does NOT listen to instructions. It is not frustrating to a 2 year old, who simply tore at the paper with her fingers and declared the results a bat.

They want to take her to Christmas Sunday service so she can get even more gifts.

But where are they when she needs them?

Too busy with their own lives to care.

She was angry yesterday, and angry part of today. I have a suspicion as to why, but I won’t say.
She wanted to go outside, and this is the last good day for it. 40’s and little chance of rain. Tomorrow is warmer, but 100% rain beginning early morning.
I let her open her big gift, and she suddenly got mad because she wanted the pink one. She did choose a cheaper made one that comes in 7 colors. They sold out before the day was over. The better one went on sale, and I jumped on the chance. She had some fun with it outside, and now it’s time to clear out the dining room, or introduce her to the cellar.

She’s been pretty happy since waking. Of course, the other family FaceTimed, and we opened gifts. She’s really happy now.
Her new car has to be right outside her tent. She is already riding it while standing on the seat.
